Ayeshah Lockwood is a retired 30-year New York City Transit veteran. She’s supervised operational and administrative staff and managed projects from the boardroom to the field, across departments. She is the mother of 5, who today is societally conscious and enjoys sharing her time by engaging in community activities. In her capacity as civil servant in the transportation industry, Ayeshah developed acumen in competencies that support both the industry of transportation and the community at large. Her continued dedication to both is the embodiment of her appreciation for those who’ve mentored her, and her desire to pay it forward through engagement in the development of active plans of succession to keep our community moving forward.
