Scholarship

It has been both a blessing & honor to be awarded this Scholarship by TDC. Being granted the ability to pursue my qualification without the financial constraints on me has not only helped me focus on my studies but has also boosted my confidence in expanding myself within my career. It has strengthened my trust in the inevitably of my success & opened many other avenues that have been a tremendous stepping stone towards the growth of my career. The support I’ve received from the team at TDC is also worth noting & more than anything I’m so excited to see what the future holds for both the organization & myself. Thank you TDC for making a difference & for being a beacon of hope to the lives of those who aspire to be more than what they are by providing them (us) with funding as well as career opportunities. Hello!! My name is Mariam and I was first made aware that I was chosen to receive this TDC scholarship by receiving a phone call from a TDC representative saying they were so amazed by my personal statement and my desire to establish a business that specializes in urban planning, collaborating with the government to build sustainable transportation and affordable housing in poverty-stricken cities. I would like to become an Urban Planner and with this scholarship, I entered college with the necessary resources needed to take on college classes. I was so grateful to receive this scholarship and to be in contact with TDC. And I can’t wait to see what the future holds. I am forever grateful. Thank you!!
