Team Pipeline, formed in August 2020, is a group of community-based organizations (CBOs) and educational institutions that came together in support of local community residents in Anniston, Alabama and in response to the Anniston Workforce Development Program (AWDP), created in partnership between the Transportation Diversity Council and New Flyer of America. The AWDP is a local program under New Flyer’s Community Benefits Framework. Team Pipeline assists job seekers in navigating the challenges of life-work integration, making opportunities that might seem out of reach, attainable.

Team Pipeline members are representatives from various CBOs who voluntarily convene on behalf of community residents to develop strategies of support and referral. We come together because we realized that while each of our organization’s provide specialized support, ultimately, we all do the same thing, help aspiring local residents. None of us provides all of the same services, and not everyone needs all of the services any one of us offer, but most need more than just the services that any one of us provides. We realized that Together We’re Better!

We network because it enables us to do the work of our respective organizations more effectively and garner a broader reach in the community. In recognition of our commitment and our impact, TDC proudly sponsors our efforts. Team Pipeline has a parent and now an official logo. The Team Pipeline Logo Contest was held among Calhoun County High School Seniors during the month of January 2022 and we’re excited to reveal the contest finalists and winning entry, Team Pipeline’s new logo!

The runner up was Sam Robison; Oxford High School, who won a One By Wacom Student Drawing Pad. The grand prize winner was Dorien Johniken; the Donoho School, who won a $250 TEC Scholarship, an Acer Chromebook 311 and a One By Wacom Student Drawing Pad.
