Assistant Construction Manager – Track and Systems

·         BS in CM, Engineering or other related field

·         Experience as an assistant CM or RE on projects valued over $30 million

·         10 years experience in Civil Construction with 5 years in Construction of transit in the areas of Tunnels/shafts or underground stations or track and systems

Inspector Comms

·         Five (5) years of experience for Associate positions, ten (10) years of experience for Senior and Lead positions which reflect a progressively increasing level of responsibility on complex projects as a General Contractor, Building Construction Supervisor, Building Inspector of large commercial or industrial construction projects, heavy construction projects, transportation, or transit construction projects for the appropriate disciplines including utilities, civil, architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical trackwork, and tunnel systems.

·         ICC Certificate of Reinforced Concrete or Masonry

·         comparable Deputy Inspection License for a county for city agency

·         NICET certification, or other alternative certification form an acceptable nationally recognized organization is highly desirable where applicable to Inspection of that particular trade.

·         ACI Registered Contraction Inspector License

·         Cal-OSHA/OSHA 30 training certification

Rail Activation Engineer

·         Five (5) years management-level experience in rail transit operations, maintenance, or start up.

·         Bachelor's Degree – Business, Public Administration, Engineering, or other related field is desirable.

·         Knowledge of theories, principles, and practices of public rail transit operations and maintenance.

·         Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal laws, rules, and regulations governing public transportation services including, but not limited to, California Public Utilities Commission requirements.

·         Knowledge of staffing, training, rules, procedures, and activities involved in test and startup of rail transit systems.

·         Knowledge of modern management theory.

·         Any combination of training, education, and experience, which demonstrates the ability to perform this position's duties.

·         Valid California Class C driver's license

Rail Activation Coordinator

·         Five (5) years management level experience in rail transit operations, maintenance, or start up.

·         Bachelor's Degree in Business, Public Administration, Engineering, or other related field is desirable.

·         Knowledge of theories, principles, and practices of public rail transit operations and maintenance.

·         Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal laws, rules, and regulations governing public transportation services.

·         Knowledge of staffing, training, rules, procedures, and activities involved in test and startup of rail transit systems.

·         Knowledge of modern management theory.

·         Any combination of training, education, and experience, which demonstrates the ability to perform this position's duties.

Systems Integration Engineer

·         Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.

·         Five (5) years of experience in integrating the various System Components on large transit projects of $30 million dollars or more

Systems Safety Certification

·         Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Rail Transit and Safety (ten (10) years of experience desirable)

·         Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Safety or related field is desirable.

·         Knowledge of Rail Transit Design, Construction and Operations.

·         Proven experience and ability to perform Safety Certification activities.

·         Familiarity with Bus Transit desirable.

·         Ability to communicate clearly and effectively and to make presentations to affected groups

Test and Startup Engineer

·         Five (5) years of experience performing Testing and Startup activities on large transit projects

 

 

Operations & Maintenance Manager

Immediate opening for a Operations & Maintenance Manager for a 15 year term PPP project. The project consists in a major Highway Lighting retrofit program of over 15 000 lights.. Reporting to the Area Manager, the O&M Manager assumes responsibility for customer satisfaction, supervises a technical team, manages the operations budget as well as the environmental and energy initiatives and ensures an overall successful delivery of the project. 

Primary responsabilities: 
· Act as the point of contact with all key stakeholders by maintaining frequent communication and ensuringproject delivery on time and within budget 
· Authority for all on-site decisions, matters of quality, performance, safety and management of personnel 
· Overseeing the O&M construction services, routine maintenance and 24/7 emergency responses 
· Work in collaboration with all other parties involved in the project to ensure advancement of construction and completion of maintenance activities when required according to contract requirements 
· Responsible for accurate accounting of expenditures in keeping with internal audit protocols, including appropriate allocation of costs to respective budgets and use of correct general ledger accounts 
· Ensure adherence to legislative standards, environmental compliance, report any instances of environmental issues or concerns in a timely manner 
· Establish and ensure preventative maintenance of all systems 
· Identify life safety issues, develop safe work practices, and conduct safety audits 
· Ensure that all work is completed in compliance with Cofely OH&S practices 
· Complete all other tasks required by the immediate supervisor. 

Requirements : 
· Technical training – Engineering university degree or Engineering Technologist (preferably in the electrical field) 
· Minimum 10 years working in the electrical field and solid knowledge of lighting technical operations environment 
· Minimum 5 years management experience or supporting the management 
· Extensive experience with MMIS systems and reporting procedures 
· Extensive and varied budget reporting experience 
· Understanding of building codes, standards and compliance related items 
· Proven experience at effectively working and managing subcontractors and interacting with the public 
· Experience managing a team, work and safety practices, operational budgets, reporting 
· Ability to manage a geographically diverse portfolio from a remote location 
· Ability to work autonomously with a limited amount of direct supervision 
· Excellent English communication skills (oral and written) 
· Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle at all times 
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, ability to adapt and learn new software systems
