I was in school actively looking for jobs to get my foot in the door in a new career after waiting tables and retail jobs since I was 16. When TDC reached out to me and got me on at New Flyer, I was a single mom working 2 jobs. They worked with me and my kids schedule until 2nd shift opened up and 2 months after I got hired at New Flyer I was promoted into a job my degree was in. And after that, everything else in my life slowly fell into place.
