Transportation Diversity Council (TDC) is a national not-for-profit corporation formed in 2010 to meet the growing need for leaders, educators, technical professionals and trade workers in the transportation and construction industries. Those needs can only be met by engaging and developing a large and diverse workforce. Our vision is to have a global diversified workforce of Transportation and Construction professional who are prepared to address leadership challenges for "Transporting the NExt Generation".
TDC honored APTA Chair, NJ Transit and TDC Board member Flora Castillo during TDC's First Annual Transportation Infrastructure Summit – Focus on Sandy Recovery on March 21, 2013 at the New York Academy of Medicine Conference Center during our Networking Reception.
"Flora Castillo is a founding Board member of TDC and at our Summit we wanted to honor her for the accomplishment of becoming APTA Chair and her sincere dedication to the transportation industry while always promoting of diversity" states Dwayne C. Sampson, President and CEO of TDC.
