Previously\, she served as the RTA’s chief of infrastructure and long-term planning. In that position\, Lona oversaw the development and execution of capital assets and the implementation of infrastructure improvement projects across all modes of the Authority’s transit operations and administration. \n\n\n\nAfternoon Keynote Speaker: Mary Skelton Roberts\nMary Skelton Roberts serves on the MBTA Board of Directors\, and is the President of the Climate Beacon Conference and Senior Advisor to the Climate Beacon Project\, a newly established non-profit committed to ensuring Massachusetts achieves an equitable energy transition. Skelton Roberts previously served as Senior Vice President at the Energy Foundation and spent over a decade as Co-director of Climate at the Barr Foundation.
