Chief Information Officer

Mr. Thomas Wallace is Senior Compliance Manager, for the MTA’s, Department of Diversity & Civil Rights, (DDCR). DDCR has responsible for contract compliance for all (5) MTA properties multi- billion dollar capital programs. He has been employed with MTA for 25 years. Thomas is currently responsible for (DDCR)’s Site Investigations Over Site. As Chief Information Officer for TDC, Thomas has the responsibility of updating the TDC”s Board of Directors on transportation industry issues.

Previous to being Senior Compliance Manager for MTA, Thomas served as Director of Contract Compliance for New York City Transit Authority for 10 years. During Thomas’s (25) year tenure with the Authority, he assisted with the 1994 planning of the 1997-2016 Capital Program Planning (20) Year Needs Assessment.

Thomas served on the American Public Transit Association, (APTA) Marketing and Communications Committee for over (10) years where he has interfaced with transit property’s through out the country.

Thomas also served as a mentor of High School aged young men attending The Eagle Academy in the Bronx, N.Y. and in 2006 received the Academy’s first mentoring award.  Thomas serves on the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity’s Foundation  Board of Director’s and serves as Social Action, Chair for Westchester County’s chapter of Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity, Boule.’

Thomas received his M.B.A. in Systems Management/Finance, and B.S. Degree in Marketing Management and Certification in Contract Compliance Administration; from Morgan State University’s/American Contract Compliance Association.
