Stephanie Dawson

Stephanie Dawson is currently the Chief of Staff, Office of the Chief Operating Officer, at the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey.  She has held positions of increasing  responsibility since joining the Agency in 1995. Her most recent assignments  have included:   Assistant Director for Operations and  Assistant Director for Capital Programs. Previously within the Technology Services Department, she was responsible for Security Systems and Strategies, the Security & Infrastructure Program, Revenue Systems Program, Operations Control Centers, and the WTC Program.   A dynamic leader and innovator, she has also held leadership positions in the military, in NYC Government, and in banking.   Stephanie anticipates  leveraging her diverse background and particularly her demonstrated leadership capability and her experience in Asset Management, Maintenance, Operations, Security and Technology to inform and support TDC goals and agenda particularly as it relates to nurturing, mentoring and helping youth  develop 21st century skills,  experience, and opportunities.
